Captain’s Log: “Intra-galactic Decisions…”

Federation space has been unsettled over the last few weeks. Order in federation space is of paramount importance, and any deviations from it are promptly been dealt with. There are competing interests within federation space, which often make the lives of us smaller captains troubled. Some can easily elicit themselves without second thoughts, always taking advantage of the situation ahead. Others are troubled by their conscience. Lack of experience usually leads to mistaken decisions. Although intimidation tactics are some times used by more primitive federation masters, the smarter and more sophisticated masters will use the forces of “friendship”, “security” and “understanding” to get their commands obeyed and to ensure compliance. The balance however is a delicate matter. At the end of the day we are all accountable for our actions one way or another. Be it with whom we chose to learn from, collaborate with, or work for. Such decisions however are often influenced by external factors. The question often becomes one of survival. The code and our mission are loud and clear. They have always been. This has often led to taking the wrong path and taking risks that come with a dear price. In all this intra-galactic muddle an angel from the past has made contact. She insists on joining us and coming onboard of our little vessel. We have a kind presence she claims. She has a special and kind presence too :) . Special care is always taken on who comes on board. We have a duty of care and our material and mental resources are limited. In the meantime contact with former crew members who are doing well inform us of emerging “competition” from a different galaxy. This has been a long anticipated development but it can only be a positive development for the greater good of our shared mission. The commander of that crew has a long and established history so it is only appropriate that he too develops his own little vessel. Registrations of future crew members are continuing. New specialist mechanics get in touch offering their services to further develop our little enterprise. Our primary mechanic and trusted dear friend is slowly awakening but special care is required. He is an unsung hero in our story, and his primary concern has been to assist his friend. Despite his peculiarities and engagement issues he has done so in many ways. No matter how our mission may end, the new friendships we have made and the old ones we have strengthened will be there to remind us of it all. Captain Out. OVER.

Captain’s Log: “Intergalactic Spring Love :)”

We continue steady in the deep galaxy of our mission. The new territory remains friendly and supportive. Workload has intensified on all fronts but the spring star season brings a boost of energy that should give us the final thrust to go through the summer star season strong and productive. We shall then hopefully burn through a Hellenic island star until our next mission. The report writing has been slow and difficult. It has been a long time since serious report writing has taken place. Minor interferences have caused minor irritations but previous battles have made us strong enough to shun the new difficulties with nodding smiles ;) . We feel grateful to our past adversaries. May they live well and prosper. Our little vessel is still landed and the mission continues on the ground (and underground) intergalactic realms. The underground resistance alliance is growing. The new mission has brought us closer to the personal histories of some of our crew members. We are getting to know our crew in ways never before imagined. They haven’t just been diligent soldiers, they have also been remarkable human beings who have endured a lot of pain and abuse in their lives. I have been feeling even more honored and privileged to have travelled with them. A few remain lost, my thoughts are with them. New technologies have been helping our ground mission. A magical communicator, Starberry 8310 and StarMac, have been acquired and they have been just brilliant in all ways. The starberry is the true communicator device with amazing Lunar GPS functions that assist ground exploration in strange and dangerous territories like LeoLand in Megacity Brixton. Work and communication with friends and colleagues has become a true 24 hour mobile joy. We are always on! The StarMac has given a new meaning to report writing. Simultaneous writing and reading of important published works on a single star-like display is now possible. Darth Jobs has done his evil miracle again! It may have taken 3 starMacs to get a pixel perfect StarMac, but the minions of Darth Jobs were kind and always delivered. Our loyalty to Lord Darth Jobs and his sinful empire remains strong as ever. Master we kneel before you! The stars have brought unexpected visitors from our past. An encounter from a chilhdood love has revitalised our spirits. They call it Spring Love, Intergalactic spring Love…We are flying all night…May the force be with you…Captain out. OVER.
