Captain’s Log: “Safe landing”
Stardate 150208 (A.S.)*

We have finally landed in a friendly territory within our galaxy. We have accomplished successfully our second mission and the time has come to prepare our journey’s report that is expected to contain a thorough analysis of our findings. All our crew members have been released until further notice. The new territory appears very friendly and keen to support our cause. Our little vessel has been put on standby mode although a few highly skilled mechanics are still working hard to make it stronger and able to accommodate more crew members in the future. After a cautious scanning of the new territory, I have transfered to my new headquarters where beautiful female smiles keep me company. Low duty tasks have been assigned to keep my skills intact but at the same time allow me to have the time to complete my final report. Strange encounters with the well known but peculiar species called “statisticians” are expected in due course. They are known to speak a peculiar but yet a very useful language that makes them high in demand in this galaxy. I have a duty to my crew members to produce a report that will live up to their expectations and efforts through out our journey, even to the ones who did not make it, the fallen ones. We have gathered an amazing body of data from which we expect to learn a lot from, and will be there to serve us for many years to come. This is our time to tell our story. Captain out. OVER.

Captain’s Log: “The encounter”, Stardate 120907 (A.S.)*

Wednesday, September 12th, 2007

We have finally encountered the expected enemy starship. The encounter was scheduled and its outcome more or less expected. We have opened hailing frequencies to begin negotiations. The commander of the enemy starship has shown little interest to co-operate despite our best intentions. Further contact has been extended with the high ranking officers from the mothership, seeking mediation and assistance with our communications. This is not the first time that we have encountered the enemy starship. Despite being out gunned and certainly less experienced in such matters we managed to survive our first encounter and to continue successfully our mission. We would not have made it without the assistance from our allies and the mothership. We may be slowed down, we may be further scarred and damaged but we believe in our true and moral course, and we will keep steady with our mission. In the meantime, we have lost a few members of our crew. This was also expected, not everybody will be able to follow our course. We hope they enjoyed our journey with us. The recruitment continues albeit in a much slower pace. One way or another we will reach our destination. The preparations for the battle continue. We seek peace but if a fight is required, a fight will be delivered. May the Greek Gods protect us. Captain out. OVER.
