Service Description

Our programme has been designed to help the patient and his family to receive the most effective and the least traumatic psychiatric hospital care possible. This is provided as an add-on care to existing psychiatric services that in all cases in Greece are generic and not specialist in specific conditions. Our programme aims to enhance the available care and to lead to a recovery that will guarantee a better prognosis in the future. Our programme is unique in providing a secure attachment base to the patient through out their experience. It buffers as much as possible the traumatic experience of hospitalisation and helps patients and their families to achieve long term recovery. It provides: - Evaluation of suitability for hospital care. - Assistance prior to the hospitalisation with all the necessary steps to care (legal matters, communication with authorities, patient transfer). - Family support and education before and during the hospitalisation.
 Evaluation and specialist treatment for the patient during his hospital care.
 - Specialist medication and psychological treatment during the hospital care.
