Anxiety is a nasty sibling of many bipolar disorders. It occurs during stable and unstable phases of Bipolar disorder. It is also a good indicator of a potential episode.
There are many type of anxiety that you may experience but this measure looks at generalised anxiety. It is a good start for keeping an eye on your anxiety levels.
If you suffer from a specific type of an anxiety disorder (OCD, Health anxiety etc) then you would also need to use other more specific anxiety measures. Nevertheless this brief measure will continue to be helpful for briefly screening your anxiety levels.
