DNA Testing & Full Biological Assessment

Service Description
Prior to starting any pharmacological treatment our psychiatrists need to have a full biological assessment of you. We will prescribe a full battery of biological tests that will include blood work, a urine sample and heart function. We can also test and have a full genetic assessment of your response to all the available psychotropic medications. We cannot use these tests yet to determine your diagnosis or mood state but they can be used In order to assist with the best choice of your medications. Follow-up tests do not need to be as comprehensive but they will continue to help with tracking for any side effects and/or problems before you actually start to experience them. We do the best we can to explain all the results in great detail to you, and to help you learn how they are useful for your treatment.
